Day 2
In the morning Bram and I went into town again to get something to eat. At noon, Willem's brother, Jan, brought us to a pub. Together with people from other associations, we marched to the place where the Schützefest would be held. Later that afternoon, the younger people shot a wooden eagle to determine who was going to be the prince of the Schützenfest. The remainder of the day was meant to celebrate the new prince. We also had to help all people a little that evening. Despite the bad weather that day, Bram and I still had a great time with all the new people we met that day.
Day 3
Bram and I overslept because we were home late. I went into town again to buy some bread for Bram and me, but all stores were closed, which is surprising to me. We didn't have the best breakfast that day. After we had been in town, we went straight towards the place where the Schützenfest would be held. We were just in time to see who was going to be King that year. Coincidentally this guy was also Dutch. The remainder of the day was, again, meant for celebrating. Bram and I had to march a lot that evening. We also had to help the people from the Schützenfest a little. The weather was great that day. Again, we had much fun that evening
